Dr Andrew Culbard
Dr Andrew Culbard is the founder of Facial Aesthetic Courses (FAC), established in 2015 with a mission to raise the standards of aesthetic training and create a culture of safe, evidence-based practice. More than a decade later, he continues to serve as Clinical Director, guiding the growth and culture of FAC as it evolves into one of the UK’s leading medical aesthetics training providers.
Alongside his work with FAC, Andrew is a partner at Soprano Ice Aesthetics in Edinburgh, where he practices advanced medical aesthetics with a focus on natural, refined results. He is also Clinical Lead at Advanced Dentistry in Glasgow, working as part of his wider directorship role with Scottish Dental Care, where he oversees the delivery and development of facial aesthetic treatments across the group’s clinics throughout Scotland.
Andrew’s approach is rooted in clinical excellence, innovation, and mentorship—continuing to inspire a new generation of practitioners to deliver safe, ethical, and high-quality aesthetic care.

Dr Shad Jaff
With over 13 years in the aesthetics industry and a background rooted in education, Shad’s career has always been defined by his commitment to training and raising clinical standards. As a Director at Facial Aesthetics Courses, he delivers advanced programmes designed not just to teach technique, but to develop safe, thoughtful, and clinically confident practitioners.
Known for his structured, methodical teaching style and calm, approachable manner, he creates a focused learning environment where delegates understand the “why” behind every decision, grounding their skills in evidence-based practice.
His philosophy champions a minimalist, regenerative approach to aesthetics, and he continually integrates the latest research and protocols into his teaching to ensure practitioners leave empowered, responsible, and equipped to deliver progressive, high-quality outcomes.
Dr Kaly Jaff
Dr Kaly Jaff is an award-winning aesthetics practitioner, founder of The Secret Clinic in Glasgow, and the visionary behind a growing ecosystem of luxury wellness, regenerative medicine, and empowerment-focused education. She is widely recognised as a leading expert in advanced facial aesthetics, skin rejuvenation, and non-surgical cosmetic treatments across the UK.
Known for her refined, natural-results philosophy, Dr Jaff specialises in subtle, harmonious enhancements that prioritise facial balance, long-term skin health, and bespoke treatment planning. Her approach centres on “undetectable aesthetics” — enhancing confidence while preserving each patient’s unique identity.
A strong advocate for patient safety and ethical practice, Dr Jaff is passionate about maintaining the highest clinical standards in aesthetics. She is committed to patient education, informed consent, and delivering results that are both safe and sustainable.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr Jaff is a dynamic entrepreneur and thought leader. Through The Secret Clinic and her wider ventures, she is building a modern luxury brand that blends aesthetics, wellness, and longevity-focused care.
Dr Jaff is also a podcast host and mentor, sharing insights on aesthetics, business, and personal growth. She is dedicated to empowering women to build successful careers, develop confidence, and create lives they are proud of.
Dr Lauren Evans
Lauren graduated from medical school at the University of Glasgow in 2010. She originally trained to be a GP, but later became a Dermatology Specialty Doctor, supporting this with a Dermatology Diploma from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, before leaving the NHS in 2019.
Lauren has been working in Aesthetics since 2015 and has been involved in training delegates at Facial Aesthetics Courses since 2016. She worked her way up in Facial Aesthetic Courses from assistant trainer through to Director of Education and Development. She has fully rewritten and planned all their courses in 2022, ensuring that the information up to date with the latest evidence.
Alongside this, she has implemented a lecturer development plan for the lecturers at Facial Aesthetic Courses, supporting them with their skills and growth within the industry.
Together with her Director role in the training academy, Lauren runs her aesthetics clinic in the prestigious and highly regarded private dental clinic, Advanced Dentistry, in Hyndland Glasgow, where patients travel from across Scotland and abroad to have their treatments with her.
She is honoured to have been awarded Scottish Aesthetic Doctor of the Year at the Scottish Aesthetic Awards in 2025, as well as Best Aesthetics Doctor Practitioner of the Year at the Scottish Aesthetics Excellence Awards for two years running in 2023 and 2024.

Erika Cunningham — Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber
Erika is an award-winning Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber with a strong clinical foundation and a commitment to excellence in aesthetic medicine. She qualified with a BSc in Nursing in 2018, gaining extensive experience across acute surgical and primary care settings before specialising in aesthetics in 2022 after training with Facial Aesthetic Courses.
Her dedication to advanced practice led her to become the first Nurse Trainer at Facial Aesthetic Courses, alongside her role as Operations Manager, where she oversees the delivery of high-quality training programmes. Erika continues to provide bespoke aesthetic treatments for her patients across two clinic locations in Glasgow.
In recognition of her contribution to the field, she was awarded Scottish Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner of the Year 2025 at the Scottish Aesthetic Awards.
Dr Jayne Bonnar
Jayne brings over 12 years’ experience in aesthetics, with extensive knowledge and skills in a wide variety of treatment options and techniques, from medical skincare to injectable treatments.
Originally from N. Ireland, Jayne graduated as a dentist in 2009 and began her aesthetics career shortly after. She has treated a broad range of patients in various independent practices and private aesthetics clinics over the years and she is now an advanced lecturer at Scotland’s leading aesthetics training academy, Facial Aesthetics Courses in Glasgow.
She also spends a lot of her time mentoring other healthcare professionals from all over Scotland who seek her out to teach them the best and safest techniques. Jayne is passionate about improving standards and patient safety.

Dr Megan McCallum
Megan has been practicing dentistry since 2016 and began her journey into facial aesthetics in 2019 when many of her patients were asking about particular treatments. It didn’t take long for Megan to realise she was passionate about aesthetics and she now runs clinics in several locations across Glasgow.
As her business grew, she completed a Level 7 Diploma in non surgical injectables and joined the teaching team at FAC. Megan really enjoys sharing her knowledge and working with delegates to help them with their own journey into the world of aesthetics.
Dr Sbah Shahid
Sbah brings a wealth of experience and a uniquely diverse skill set to our team. She graduated with First Class Merit in Dentistry from the University of Dundee in 2005 and went on to expand her expertise in Cosmetic Orthodontics, Dental Implantology and more.
Since 2017, she has trained extensively in Facial Aesthetics with leading industry experts and offers a wide range of facial rejuvenation treatments and medical-grade skincare.
Known for her warm, honest and down-to-earth nature, Sbah is passionate about helping clients feel confident, refreshed and still very much themselves.
Her love for teaching and sharing knowledge is evident in her role as a Trainer at Facial Aesthetic Courses, where she inspires and supports the next generation of practitioners.
Dr Camille Young
Camille is a dentist and facial aesthetics practitioner who graduated from the University of Dundee in 2018, beginning her career in medical aesthetics in 2019. She works between two clinics in Glasgow, alongside being one of our lecturers.
She recently completed a year-long university diploma in Cosmetic and Aesthetic Medicine, further strengthening her anatomical knowledge and commitment to safe, evidence-based practice.
As a lecturer, she is passionate about inspiring delegates to share her enthusiasm for confident practice, in-depth learning, strong medical foundations, and the art of subtle, natural enhancement.
Dr Stephanie Laing
Stephanie joined Facial Aesthetics Courses in 2026 as a Masterclass trainer, bringing over two decades of clinical experience and a deeply artistic approach to medical aesthetics. Qualifying as a dentist from the University of Glasgow in 2002, she transitioned into injectable facial aesthetics in 2007, viewing it as a natural evolution from smile design to full-face and neck rejuvenation.
Her longstanding commitment to advanced training, combined with the decision in 2021 to step away from dentistry and focus exclusively on aesthetics, underpins her authority as an educator.
As a trainer, Stephanie is committed to sharing safe, ethical, and anatomically informed practice, emphasising clinical judgement, complication management, and treatments that are always in the patient’s best interest, while maintaining the highest standards of regulation, patient safety, and professional integrity.
