Meet the academy behind your learning
Clinical experience. A considered approach to education.
FAC brings together clinicians from medicine, dentistry and nursing. Explore the people behind the academy and their approach to professional development.

Dr Andrew Culbard
Founder & Clinical Director
A dentist and practising aesthetic clinician, Andrew founded FAC in 2015.

Dr Lauren Evans
Director of Education & Development
A former NHS Dermatology Specialty Doctor, Lauren brings a skin-science background to FAC’s teaching.
“The e-learning modules were very in-depth and highly relevant, giving me a strong foundation before the practical sessions.”

CPD & reflective learning
Online aesthetics CPD and revalidation: what to check.
Choose subjects relevant to your professional role, experience and development goals. A personal record of what you studied and how it informs your practice can help you organise your continuing professional development portfolio.
If you need a specified number of CPD hours or a particular certificate for your professional requirements, check the course details with FAC before purchasing.
For nurses and midwives, independent study does not by itself meet the NMC’s participatory learning requirement. For dental professionals, verifiable CPD requires the appropriate evidence and quality assurance. Refer to the NMC CPD guidance or GDC CPD guidance for your requirements.

Before you buy
Online aesthetics course questions, answered.
Practical answers about access, course format, certificates and your next step.
Can I preview an online course before buying?
Yes. Contour Online and Therapeutic Botulinum Toxin Online have free introductory lesson previews. They show the course overview and learning area. You can also review the published curriculum on each sales page before choosing.
What is the difference between an online aesthetics course and hands-on training?
Online courses focus on theory, assessment, anatomy and the recorded material included in the curriculum. Hands-on training provides a separate practical learning experience. Choose learning that fits your professional background and development needs, and explore FAC hands-on courses if you need practical training.
Who are these online courses for?
These are professional education courses for aesthetic practitioners and healthcare professionals preparing for suitable practical training. Choose a foundation or advanced subject that fits your background. Advanced courses require relevant foundation knowledge and appropriate practical training; contact FAC if you are unsure.
What is included in the five-course collection?
Combined Foundation Botulinum Toxin & Dermal Fillers, Advanced Botulinum Toxin, Advanced Lip & Peri-Oral, Cheek & Mid-Face, and Chin & Jawline. The separate foundation products are not counted again. The collection excludes hands-on training, separate webinars, Skin Regeneration, Facial Contouring, Therapeutic Botulinum Toxin and the video library/Vault.
Can I use online learning towards CPD or revalidation?
Learning should be relevant to your scope of practice and development needs. Whether it can be recorded towards your requirements depends on your profession, the activity and the evidence available. Ask FAC about the hours, assessment and certificate for the specific course before buying for a CPD requirement. Independent recordings alone are not participatory learning, and a course purchase does not complete revalidation.
Will I receive a certificate?
Check with FAC which completion evidence or certificate is available for your chosen online course before purchasing if this is important to you. A course completion record is distinct from an assessment of practical competence.
How long can I access my course?
Access terms are shown with the pricing option on the individual course page and at checkout. Review those terms before purchasing. Existing students should use the access already attached to their FAC account.
Is this a subscription?
The individual courses shown here and the five-course collection are one-time purchases. The collection is £795 + VAT, or £954 including UK VAT at 20%. Applicable tax and the final total are shown at checkout.
I have already booked a practical course. Should I buy again?
